The driver mod is the single biggest factor. Check out www.cleanmpg.com for 100 tips to increase your fuel mileage.

+1, driver is the thing that needs improved. lol. if only ford could make better drivers...
but i added u/d pulleys, air intake, exhaust, and ill be getting a tune if i ever get the money for it. none of that significantly increases mpg around town, it actually hurts it if you have a heavy foot. but on the highway with my 3.0L towing a trailer at 60 mph, ill get 24 mpg easy, last trip unloaded across state i got 25-27 the whole way there. just gotta avoid start and stop type driving

My 3.0 gained 1-2 mpg with just the MAC Performance intake. Once I threw on the flowmaster super 44 and brought it out before the tire the mpg dropped a ton! Im getting about 18 driving 50 miles a day to school. Its probable half highway and half city. Its a kick between the legs for a college student but I plan to get the U/D pullies and tuner as surfer03133 has. 25-27mpg on the highway would be absolutly amazing for a 3.0 with 4.10 gears owner!

I average around 13-14mpg in the City. I do 99% city driving. On the two long road trips I have done in the truck I got around 18-21 mpg.

My worst mpg was 29mpg & my best so far was 36mpg

I drive with a very light foot.

I never use ethanol blended gas.

Just straight 87 octane.

I get 11-15 in town and about 15-17 on highway. Not a lead foot or anything either. Have problems that I need to still fix... but no money to fix it.

I get about 9-11 mpg and between 160-180 mpt
I am not sure on my bad mileage I have done everything possible
New injectors
Tune-up
Fuel filter

I was told maybe vaccum lines but i don't even know where to begin with those

I am a little heavy footed though Its only because when you put your foot to the floor you don't go anywhere!!
