There are plenty of supercharged Rangers. Currently the only kits out there are the EE kit and the RP Caster kit but both are only for the SOHC 4.0 engine. The EE kit uses its own blower and manifold while the RP kit uses the Eaton M90 supercharger from the early T-bird SC. There are no kits out for any other engine.

What do you mean EMS? Do you mean ECU or PCM (both meaning computer)?

EMS- engine management system to control the Fuel air ratios and make sure everything is tuned up to handle everything we put on it.

Ah. We don't really say EMS. Its either ECU or PCM. If the 97 computer is programmable like the later ones are you will just have to buy a tuner and tune from SCT tuner or Bama chips. Example: http://www.lasotaracing.com/ You may have to but the tuner and tune it yourself on a dyno because I have heard that you can't find the supercharger tune on its own anymore. But again I don't know if you can even tune a 97 computer.

well the ranger is a 97 with a 4.0 V6 OHV engine. we have bought an Eaton M90 supercharger from a 92 or so T-bird with an intercooler. and with T-bird injectors 32 pounds. approx. 7 to 9 pounds of boost. we were trying to figure out what kind of stand alone fuel system we need to run it. one that we could tune ourselves instead of putting in a chip in it and having to take it to a shop whenever we add things to it. (headers, bore it, more boost) i don't know even if i have all that right, thats why i'm on here trying to figure things out
