Pop and Lock
Looks like there is three different models. Which one would be the overall best I guess?

Re: Pop and Lock
when i asked about pop and lock at my auto parts store there was only one model that could fit the ranger for my model years. I dont have the model name with me unfortunately but perhaps your parts supplier could help you with that.
This looks like what I have

Re: Pop and Lock
Mine was a POS...if you have power locks someone makes a nicer one that is electric.

Re: Pop and Lock
The problem with mine is I could still open even when it was locked, I rechecked everything and it just would not sit right. Might have just been mine...who knows. I put a cover on one of the bolts to the tailgate so if someone was trying to steal they would only get my tail lights and not my tailgate.

Re: Pop and Lock
When I was about to install mine, my dad noticed that the locking mecanism was installed upside down on mine (which might have been the issue with yours as well since it wouldnt lock until my dad modded it).

Re: Pop and Lock
I have the center one that I bought from Lenard truck accessories, but I had to modify the one piece slightly so the handle would come back all the way.
