Default coolaint is dirty?

Ok when i got the truck the fluid and in the coolaint overflow was dirty but fluid in radiator is clean so the dealer cleaned the overflow and it was clean and i checked it today (3 or 4 weeks later) and its alittle low and brown. Can someone help me out here?

i would flush the entire system with water and use new coolant.

ok I will do that sometime in the next few weeks.. It shouldn't hurt the truck should it?

what, the old coolant? i doubt a few more weeks would cause any damage, but i would want to take care of it soon.

if it's left alone for a long time it could clog coolant passages, eat up gaskets, other crap like that. but that's nothing that'll hapen overnight, takes a while for that to happen.

my dads no mechanic but hes a hell of a handy man i've learned alot from the internet aswell (thanks frf) and i am 18 1/2. grew up working on and around vehicles helps alot too!

best way to flush.....get a garden hose,undo bottom pipe on rad and flush away,keep going till water runs clear,and obvioulsy put antifreeze back in when refilling

I think this will answer some question, doesn't say it in the video but make sure to refill ur system with coolent. correct me if im wrong but seems right to me, then again i dont know much and would rather take it to a shop with a trained professtional lol

Its rusty cause your water pump fins are rusting out. Keep an eye on your coolant temp, buy a radiator cleaner, and flush the system. If you can use a garden hose, you wont need any help. Besure to get air out of the lines by running the vehicle with coolant cap off, vent high, and heat on hot.
