You can get a nice 4 foot fire stick whip for about 21 bucks at any truck stop.

For a decent cb, Id go with a cobra 98, that is what I got. It works pretty well. I believe you can get them new for about 30 bucks.

https://www.cobra.com/category/cb-radios.cfm

^ This is a pretty decent website at first glance. I have the 19 DX IV, I thought they were 30 new, But on this sight there 65.

Also, at the truck stop by my house, there is a cb called the army cb. A lot of people around here are getting them. You may be able to google it, I'm unsure, Ill see if I can find it.

You can get a firestik cheaper then that... I think I paid $15 for mine.

If you are looking for a basic CB, why do you need a 102"?

whip mounts? Well I just took a piece of scrap metal, drilled two holes into it and mounted it to the box and the whip. Or you can simply, drill one hole for your whip, then C-clamp it to your box. But they usually sell all that stuff at truck stops a long the highway.

As long as you don't get a great big wire whip, You should have more success, I heard those things get bad reception.

I'm not sure, I've heard pretty bad about those. But I've also seen a lot of people with those too. So, who knows.
