Default Dealership service dept question

Am I the only one who gets a little pissed when a dealer's service dept or a tire shop does not put a disposable plastic cover on you seat when servicing your vehicle? I have seen rolls of 500 covers going for $50, even less wholesale. Seems like a small price to pay to make your customers happy.

I'm going to buy some disposable covers and put one on my drivers seat the next time I take it in for servicing at the dealership.

I don't think that I've ever gotten a cover on my seat. I am lucky when I go for service (usually non-dealership) and they put the paper mat down.

Walmart always covers my seats.

Ford stained them, not by sitting, but leaving tools on my seat.

That's right, dirty rusty tools on my light grey seats.

So yeah, pissed.

Never take my truck for ford to work on. I just have to worry about my self getting the seat dirty after I get done working on it.

Dealer's used to put a plastic cover over the driver's seat and paper mats in the floorboard years ago. Not any more. Bummer!

back when my dad worked at the mack dealership he would keep the plastic covers from the seats of the brand new trucks to use as a cover when he had to move the trucks around in his shop uniform. he also makes a floor liner out of cardboard. he was the only mechanic to do that, and he used to have drivers request him because they saw how he respected their rig's.

it's a shame more mechanic's don't take care like that.
