shouldn't cost more than 150 right around 85+tax for the kit to roll your own in and 4 or 5 bucks for some sand paper to make the paint in the bed rough for the bedliner to bite to it and some sort of tack cloth or cleaner to make sure the bed is absolutly clean.... not sure how much the rattle can bed liner is per can.... and rhino line and line-x youd be looking at around 3-400 buck for them to spray it in....

I would go with a roll on kit instead of a spray because of over spray issues. A Herculiner kit comes with everything thing you should need except for the cleaner. It will go on a heck of a lot thicker with a roll on instead of a spray too.

How close does the rustolium stuff match up to the Line-X bedliner? Reason I ask is I have spots in my truck where years of work and abuse have caused chips and I wanted to fill them in. Not overly picky about how well the color matches since mines almost 10 years old now faded some. Just trying to keep the spots from rusting out.

idk about your truck but when i had mine line-X ed they put a badge in the side rail of my bed (its litteraly set into the line-x). right by the wheel well that says right on it. life time warrenty. i researched it and called where i had it done and they said theyd do a total respray to platch any open spots

Going to look into this tonight then because I had no idea that they had a lifetime warranty on the spray...

Thanks man!

u mean like this?

ive had my line-x for about 5 years . i love it. i cant speak for other brands/methods but i don't see how one could top the durability of this stuff. not one chip has come off anywhere and i havent babied it either. youd really have to be doing some extreme **** to get some to come off.
its faded but not terrible and it still cleans up pretty nice scrubbng with simple green.
Some of these other brands i wonder if it would start to come off on me if i took a scotchbrite to it!
