its faded but not terrible and it still cleans up pretty nice scrubbng with simple green.
Some of these other brands i wonder if it would start to come off on me if i took a scotchbrite to it!
you my friend hit the nail on the head

Well, i work for Oreilly auto. I know you could get either the Hurculiner or the 3M with kevlar. Both are under 100 bucks

For anyone else out there who didn't know this:

Went to my local Line-X guy to see about the gouaches and was told that the lifetime warranty is non-transferable. So because I bought my truck used and it was already sprayed, I'm SOL on free repairs...

You'll never need the Line-X warranty...

My Ram (gone now) was abused and misused to the extreme. We tossed (with a capital T) demolition waste from renovations in it weekly. Studs with nails, broken concrete, steel, you name it. Total massacre, dump runs every week. Had yards and yards of 3/4 clear dumped in it the past few months. PL200 and other adhesives leaked onto it and brute force pulled back off. The paint all around the bed is scratched up, rear slider got smashed (and replaced with plexiglass from HD), absolutely no mercy shown to this bed.

And gents, I can tell you that it is, as it sits at the Ford dealership waiting to be wholesaled away, completely, one-hundred percent mint. The mintiest bed you'll ever see. Line-X FTW. They should coat tanks in that shit.

I am going to have to agree with JGiddy, I got my Line-X done about 6 months ago and i couldn't be happier with it. Its tough as nails and looks so clean and keeps any moisture from getting in between the bed and the liner. Well Worth the Money in my opinion.

I just got done installing herculiner 2weeks ago , and I will take some pics when I have a chance . It was under $100.00 for everything , has a gritty texture and dried rather quickly to be honest . I like it . As for wear and tear , I'll wait until after the winter to see how durable it is but I did a couple of samples on some sheet metal and I like it so far . It rolled on pretty easy . I went over the edges with a brush , and started at the front of the bed and came back to the tailgate . Wait a while for it to dry before your second coat . I used a long wooden pole for the second coat attached to the roller and it worked great . I finished up the second coat on my tailgate this weekend and hit some light spots and touched it up . REAL easy to install , but be VERY careful not to get the stuff on you as you will find that anything you touch NOW is herculiner ... wash up and Keep yourself clean !!! I got some on my pants and found it on my workbench and in my tv room . Just a dab on my pants and it attached to anything you touch !!!

My parents run the Line-X in Sycamore, IL...

Line-X will warranty ANY Line-X work done, no matter what Line-X you go to. You do NOT need to go to the original Line-X to get the warrantied work done. They probably told you this to get you out of their shop.

The quality of Line-X is amazing - my parents actually have a line from line-x that contains Kevlar and it looks and holds up AMAZINGLY WELL. Are you looking for over the rail spray or just in the bed? Over the rail will cost you more, but it's worth it. The reason Line-X looks so much better than Rhino Liner is because Line-X dries in seconds, rather than minutes, giving it no time to run or drip. It is sprayed on at VERY HIGH temperatures, and cools in 30-70 seconds.

My parents have Line-Xed anything from eggs to full vehicles, inside and out. It is a VERY GOOD LINE of product.

Any questions or if you want a quote, let me know.

I am sure if a few people in the Chicagoland area wanted their trucks sprayed, my parents would do a group-buy discount, just sayin.

If anybody is interested, PM me for quotes and details. Include the size, style, year, make, model of what you want sprayed, if you want over the rail or not, etc.

They do undercoating as well!

Just had my Line-X done last friday and I'm very very pleased. Cost through a buddy who works at a dealership was $420 after tax for over the rail. I love it and it's sprayed on nice and thick, and even. That's something I haven't seen accomplished with any of the do-it yourself kits, either rolled or sprayed on.
