my 60/40 that was in it when i got my '04 wasn't hard at all. it was actually very comfortable. my '04 Fx4 buckets are a little harder though

wow thanks for all the input, but the dealer with the 05 hasn't called me, and im guessing its going to be way to expensive for me. my budget maxes out at about 7500, the 05 didn't have a price on it and wasnt inspected the guy said 6800 but he doesn't know since it wasnt inspected and they didnt' know what they had to fix. Power doesn't matter to me, i currently drive a 2.5 liter, i don't think you can get slower... basicly if its got 4x4, im looking at it. ive test driven the 3.0's alot and to be honest only problem i had was getting up to highway speed quickly, but i don't travel on the highway more then 100 miles a year usally, test driving the '00 tomrrow and ill give it a good look over, get the car fax and stuff

Dude is nuts for that year truck...

----------

I hardly doubt any 2000 unless really modified would pull in around 9kish or more...Not sure what your truck is worth...as he is asking for the 7500 and your truck...

good luck man, hope you find the best one for ya. if i were you id wait it out to find a nice 4.0. it would be definatly worth it. i have a 2.5/5spd as well, it would kick the crap outta a 3.0 auto anyday...

Seems like most dealers are giving me 1500-2500 for my truck as a trade. I'd defiantly would take a 4.0 but I don't think I want to give up the extended cab. I'm suppose to look at a reg cab with the 4.0 tommorrow, not sure about it thou

since i got in trouble about making multiple threads about the same thing, im going to try to bring my old thread back to life

I think i might have found the prefect truck, going to look at it tomrrow. i'll post every thing i can get from it. 2000 ford ranger xlt, extended cab (might be a super cab won't know till tomrrow) 4.0 OHV, 138k miles on it, its 4wd, Has the off road package, automatic tranny, priced at 5900 right now
As always any one have one of these vehicles? any trouble spots? What can i expect out of it (gas mileage, longlivity (i tend to maintain my vehicles pretty well when i have the money for it), ect).

Thanks in advance and sorry for any mispellings, spelling was never my strong point in school.

Well these new ranger threads are most likely ending...(from me atleast). I just put money down on a truck, its a 2000 xlt, 4x4, 115k miles, super cab, 4.0 ohv engine. Seemed to run great drove nice. The dealer is fixing it and getting all the maintice up to date for me. Hopefully ready by wed. Im hopeing ill make 200k miles in this truck!

I hope so, I've even thinking of my first mods... I'm split between off road tires (don't need them but they look good on these little trucks) or the cute girl in the passenger seat mod. Tough choice lol
