Default Reccomendations/ Reviews/ Opinions! Upgrading my Ranger!! :) Lift, tint, CAI, Bumper

Lift: RCD 6in lift
http://www.offroadwarehouse.com/prod...roductID/39381
Good manufacturer? anybody rock this? pros cons?

Tint? what % should I go? I want dark in the back and lighter in the front, just enough to keep some sun out. any place i can use as a rference?

Cold Air Intake: Going with K&N. Anyone have one? opinions?

And finally, Lightbar.bumper: Im thinking either the Baja Eliminator
http://www.offroadwarehouse.com/prod...2/278/sfID3/17

Or Just a standard bro bar...i mean bull bar. Just somthing to mount some KC daylighters on.

Any imput appreciated

don't do the k&n intake. they dont have a heat shield and you will loose power because you will be sucking in hotter air not cooler air. im sure you will get tons of others saying the same thing

K&N only makes a short ram, they do not offer a cai for the ranger.

No matter what people will say here, posting a wrong over and over and over doesn't make it right.

In any case, with the hot summers we're having, tint could be a good first mod imo.

Would also be nice of you to give us some info on your truck in your signature, so we know what you're asking about.

^ What he said, just buy the drop in filter from k&n

The lift, why exactly you want 6 inches? Looking to put 35's on it?

The tint is all personal preference.

And I think that light bar would look sick, I got a buddy with the same one on his f150, and it nice!

6in because very few options are available for my year ranger (08)...atleast thats what the shops (Off Road Warehouse) are telling me. Im looking for ideally a 5in lift but i hear the 5in spindles make for a really shitty ride and this one offers the full package. Im only going to be running 30in tires for now

BTW its an 08 xl 5speed manny transmission

any "lift" from 01 and newer for an xlt or xl 2wd truck will work on yours. many manufactures might not have updated their websites to the new years, but the only difference between a truck from 01 and yours from 08 is the tail lights, corner lights, grille, and interior changes. mechanically they are the same.

which ORW are you looking at picking up the stuff from? a buddy of mine is the manager of the temecula store

Do you really need a lift to fit 30" tires on a XL? I thought the original sizes were around 28.5", shouldn't be a problem on a stock height.

I would think..

Edit: yup
