i did sort of...i drove my grandpas 98 ranger 2.5 several times and i drove my buddies 3.0 4x4 and thats how i decided i wanted a 4.0

hes will, he just doesnt know what the hells he doing, he said you could get it from the website, not on the public website...and hes called and asked me 3 times for my email... im about ready to say thanks but no thanks, its a 2001 ford ranger xlt 4x4 3.0 with 154k on it for 4800 good deal for this area but its not even worth it anymore

if i find a 4.0 for the right price and an auto tranny (has to be an auto im the only one in my house hold who drives a stick and or is will to) haveing more then one 4x4 would be a nice thing since the one we have is being used to travel alot.

took me a week to find my 2wd, just happened apond it, but ive decided i wanted one from a dealer instead of a little rinky dinky place where i bought my current truck, just to much to risk if im spending over 2500

I sometimes I love my 3.0, and sometimes I hate my 3.0.
It all just depends on what you use it for....
towing/hauling? defiantly the 4.0.
just as a DD? the 3.0 isnt a bad choice.
the 4x4 is a must though! I wish I had 4x4. If you cant get a 4x4, at least get a 4x2 with a limited slip. I also wish I had that.

i need the 4x4 just for the fact its not uncommon to get a foot plus of snow where i live and in a 2wd with an open diff, your not going far
