hi guys, so i obught a 97 ranger xl for my fiirst car the other day. it has 152,000 miles 3.0 4wd reg cab amd a 5 speed. it needs a lot of work though. it needs a maf sensor, exhaust, u joint in the front, ekg sensor and the leaf spring support. also it needs brake work but im not sure whta it needss there, when you press the brake pedal it goes straight to the floor and barely works, I think its brake lines needing replacing but i thought i would check to be sure. Also it needs tires desperately bad. but now to the fun parts, Im going to paint the bumpers, grill, fenders, and any other gray plastic on it black, and repaint the bedliner black. im htinking of putting a 3 inch lift and putting 33's on it (does that work?) and im just wondering what you guys think of all this. btw i ordered a dynomax exhaust already

Instead of painting the plastic bed liner, why not get a DIY bedliner kit:

Gotcha. I'm in the same boat with the spray in on my Chevy, except for I spilled a can of brown stain (on accident and I wasn't aware of it) which sat in the truck for half a hot ass day, and now it's permanently attached to the bed, lol.
