If the person supplying the tunes know what they are doing yes.

Rouge Performance is who I would suggest

I just got a superchips flashpaq 1815 mainly so I could reprogram my speedo and such but it really helped my truck. I was pleasantly suprised because at highway speeds my truck would have to work hard to maintain speed with 35's and 4.10 gears. Now it holds speed without having to go in and out of overdrive and I can get on the gas and it can actually build speed to pass. Feels way better than without it.

Now most people will say get a custom tunes from rouge or bama and they might be better but you can find a flashpaq for $200 or less & if you decide to sell it you can clear your truck off of the tuner & resell it to most 99-08 gas powered fords.

Nice, ive been looking for a cheap or used tuner... I got a 3 inch intake and dual exhaust and it makes way more torque over stock, i used to work at the garage in walmart and i drove trucks just like mine but stock with small tires and they were slow as hell compared to mine... But i do have a lil trouble on the highway, i like keeping it in top gear cuz it cruizes nice and saves gas, i have 31s with a stock diff (3.73)...
