Agreed. The Ranger has just been played out and Ford will replace it with something eventually or bring it back at a later date. They've produced this platform for 28 long years and have basically run out of ideas to revamp it which they've stolen from other models. For example: yesterday I went to a local supermarket to get a few things. On my way out, a 1998 F150 parked right next to my ranger. The only difference between my ranger and his f150 was the engine, tranny, and some of the trim (wheels and a strip of chrome trim along the body). Other than that, the interior was just about identical to what mine has and the height was the same as mine. I almost got into his f150 instead of my ranger by mistake.

Nothing's wrong with it. His F150 looked like my Ranger so much that I tried to unlock his door with my keys by mistake. That's how much they looked alike. It scared me when rose up in the seat and I realized i tried to unlock the wrong truck.

Nah, so far all my problems have been well known issues. It's just that ford hasn't done anything to remedy them. And the dealerships i've been to were plagued with a mix of incompetence and greed.

Same here man. The dealerships have been extremely greedy here concerning the Ranger. I looked at one today and they want nearly $30K for it! Don't ask what I told them either because I'd have to break my promise of not cussing in any of my posts on here anymore. Think of the swearing scene in the movie called "The king's speech". If you've seen that movie, then that would give you an idea of what I said.
