around here, 340 is the scrap value...i think its a fair deal..just gotta deal with the ugly ass paint until i can afford to paint it..lol...gotta fix the yoke first...anyone found any info on that?

5spd 4x4 is a really good combination. i have one im working on the project thread exactly like this except blue interior and its an 86. id say deal! mine needs a good bit of TLC as well and i paid 500 for mine. go for it dude!

4th gear synchro/shifter fork damaged from keeping hand on shifter as a hand rest and wearing parts, think of it as riding the clutch and throw out bearing wear.

It's definitely a project, and like all projects it depends on how far you want to take it. If you just want a beater for the winter and/or offroad fun then it won't take much to keep it drivable/legal.

A frame-up resto on the other hand can mean months of work and thousands of dollares. If that's the plan, I'd go with something a little more originally complete as far as stock parts and such. Just my 2 cents.
