well i do drive all city and about 40-50 on average. my city is not very big and i live in the country.

Mine is in metric cause I'm Canadian eh! but 12L/100km is about 19.6 mpg for my average of mixed highway and city. I'll usually do about 22 or 23 mpg on the highway, even with air conditioning on.

with my 3" bl I average 16 with 285/75/16 but have gotten 18 before driving like grampa. When I put my inspection tires on I get 19 with 235/75/15 and 21 driving like grampa.

2010 ford ranger. getting 23 mpg us combined. 4 litre/3.55/23575r15/5spd std/not 4 wheel drive. shift points 1500 rpm. do not over accelerate. shift to neutral when comeing to a stop. drive no faster than 5mph over posted speed limit. 35psi tire pressure. no freeway driveing. synthetic engine and transmission oil. check regularly for brake drag. also noticed at some gas stations where i live if the pump you are useing has not been sreviced recently(here the law only requires once every 2 years) fill slower and you will get more fuel sometimes. some gas station here give you more fuel than others. you have to try different ones to see what works best for where you live.

I get 18.5 on the freeway only if I keep it under 70. And 13-14 in the city depending on how many red lights I get raped by.

I found that keeping my RPM's under 2000 is where I get the most mileage at...easy take off is the key. I have a 4.0L 4.10 gears 4X4 and on a full tank (city driving 40-45MPH) I can average about 230 miles on a full tank.

that's impossible on my truck without lugging it big time. I have to go to at least 2300 rpm or my next shift will bring the rpm's down to the unusable range

I got the 3.0 with 255/55/18s. 15-24 mpg. I average 17 and change. Too much street driving, but everything is local.
