Windows hop when wet?
Has anyone else noticed that when the power windows are wet and you roll them down they hop or jump a little bit like they're sticking to the dew wipes? My Ranger has done it since brand new and I was wondering if I'm the only one with this problem.

Mine doesn't do it but I've owned other cars that did though.

my does the same damn thing and it anoyes the hell out of me. FYI dont tint your windows cause when it hop likes that it will scratch the croup out of your tint.

Mine hop even if they're dry. Also acts like the batterys dead (they go up real slow) I'll have to tear the panel off

mine hop a little when wet...FYI spray a little silicone in the window run channel and that will make the window operate a little smoother

i think its a ford thing. because my mom rolled them down and shes like my mustang use to do the same thing and she said its when you hold both down when its dry it does it too.

mine does same thing put windows down and they hop it annoys the hell outta me but hey at least they work

 Infact my ranger windows roll up and down faster than any car i've used before

I don't have auto windows but my manual windows have always done that.

My 2010 drivers side does it . Ford gave me some bull that it was a dirty window . Since day one , last year . Annoys the hell out of me . found a new dealer and have to bring it in for a check so I'll have them look at it . Have not had time to drop it off ...
Interesting to see I am not the only one here too !
