Definately too much money ...
A trans and suspension work is a few thousand dollars . I'm sure there are better deals out there ... Unless you can do all the work yourself , but the engine runs funny ? Looks like it can turn into a money pit .

Way too much to me. If you're willing to travel a bit to pick one up I'd say check Tampa's craiglist. I've seen a ton of Rangers for sale up here on Craigslist for about the same price with nothing wrong. I just bought mine a few weeks ago for 1300. It had some cosmetic issues but I'll only have around 1800-2000 in it when I'm done.

I just noticed you are in Boston . Look around at local dealers and auto adds . You can find a used one for a lot better deal .

Yeah man, unless you got a motor and trans on hand, I would pass on that.

The seller also stated his 3.0/auto extended cab is good on gas. Pretty big stretch, especially when the engine is running funny.
