Default Clutch Master Cylinder Bleeding

Just put in a clutch assembley with slave cylinder and master cylinder. Trying to bleed. Got the peddle tight and it took so long to get it at this point. Start up the engine push the peddle in and the thing will not go into gear. Then no more pressure on the peddle. What is the best way to solve this headach of a problem? It took an hour just to get the pressure up. Is there something different I need to do to get this working? Was there something put back wrong to where this is happening? Please, please anyone that has and answer let me know. Thanks......

You need to open the bleeder open the resivour cap and just let it run until its a solid stream. After that, leave the resivour cap off overnight, this will let any remaining air out the top.

The You Tube is great and works great now after following it step by step!!! These old school mechanic's need to take the time and watch this video ASAP. If not you will only make things real hard for yourself and whoever you are trying to help. Take a few minutes and watch it.
