Default Memorable comments about your Ranger...

Id like to hear some of the comments you people have gotten about your Ranger, either + or -.

The most memorable Ive gotten so far was from the owner of a truck accessory store. I was in the store looking for something; a tool box I believe. The owner asked what kind of truck I had and I told him I just got a 2011 Ranger Supercab. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, well, maybe someday you can get a real truck. Needless to say, I didnt spend much more time in the store. Now I know why I never see any customers at that store.

Now its become kind of a joke between my girlfriend and me. When I tell her Im coming over to her house she asks if Im bringing the real truck or the other one.

Probably the most memorable comments i get are the kids that think its a monster truck, ive heard that quite a few times over the years. Probably the comment I get the most is "nice looking wheels" they seem to be what most people notice first.

I remember when I first got my tires & wheels (same combo I have now) and a female I know commented on the new setup by saying "OMG, it looks so cute!!!!!"

I was like....

"cute"?!?!?!

Although, the first couple months after having that setup was pretty memorable. My paint was all nice and shiny still, wheels & tires looked amazing. I had random people giving me compliments in parking lots and whatnot quite a bit. One day I had three separate times where people gave me compliments.

LOL, that's a good one Tom. The most memorable comment I got was when I was using that infamous Terminator muffler. An old man swore up and down that I had a V8 in my ranger in which I did not. even after I showed him, he still swore up and down it was a V8 which was funny really. Other than that old man, most people usually give me great comments and only a few give me negative comments and that's usually around the 5 spd manual tranny and that's only because people can't drive one really.

I get the usual clean truck comments, people thinking it's newer than 03, and comments like today.

I went to Publix to get some groceries, and upon entering an aisle, I saw an 01-02 White Ranger Edge Supercab with bed caps. There just so happened to be an open spot next to it, so I decided to park in that spot to have a little fun. I go in, get my stuff, and come out to the owner of the other Ranger looking at mine, then back at his, then back again. He spots me and asks if I own the truck. I said yes sir. He said he sure wished his was as clean as mine. He then cracked a joke about how if he didn't have the toolbox, he would have had a hard time telling our trucks apart until he got up close. Then we chatted about how Rangers were the best small trucks, and then we parted ways. I wish I had given him a card for here or something, I want pics with a twin truck to mine.

Cool Re: Memorable comments about your Ranger...

My Son's 93: We went to the local O'Reillys to get somethin & left the truck runnin since what we was gettin would be quick, a couple guys eyeballed the truck as they walked in & the counterman said "Whats makin all the rumble out there?" and one of the guys who came in after us said "Its that lil' Ranger, f*cking thing gotta be V8'd".

My 94: You'd have to ask some of the Knoxville Meet guys whats been said. I've heard numerous times "HOLY SH*T" when lookin under the hood, and seen many people snap their neck when they seen my rear tires as I trailered it to said events.

last night during the crowd at the lake where the fireworks where i had pulled up and backed to where me my friend and a couple girls could hang out watch the fireworks well knowing that i had the biggest loudest truck in the parking lot when the time came to leave and it was CROWDED like people parked a mile up the street i fired it up and having the advantage of being manual i basically made my way out of that place, i got one guy good, he was looking at me like i was a retard with some brantley gilbert playin and girls in the back like he could one up me but at the time i was sittin in neutral, when i threw it in first and he was right behind me i dumped the clutch and hit 3500 and burnt em good and threw some gravel not to mention i got a look from him and he yelled, HOLY HELL!

hahaha it made my night but i get alot of the looks from tons of people and ofcourse the normal comments
