So about a week ago my truck needed axel seals both sides front and rear and while I was in there I decided I would do cv axels (135k)....i made the mistake of taking it to a guy I know because I "didn't want the headache"... I got my truck back and the first thing I noticed was it REEKED of rear end fluid in my cab, and today I go out to my truck and find my rear end is driping from the diff cover..... Ahhhhhhh!!!! Lesson learned, if you want something done right......DO IT YOURSELF!!!!

I learned this a long time ago when i brought my 86 ranger in to have the trans rebuilt and it came back with a poorly rebuilt trans, (blew again after 1 month) grease all over the interior, a perminant hand print in the paint on the hood and two bent up stainless tailpipes (they used a truck to push it around the parking lot and crushed my dual exhaust pipes) Its hard to find good mechanics.
