Re: which gps to buy?
I have a garmin nuivi and I love it! It was cheap when I bought it cause it was an old model but still gives me the info I need to keep me from getting lost. I don't think there is much difference between brands like garmin or tom-tom

Re: which gps to buy?
I got a Tomtom 350M for Christmas this year-I like it a lot; it was awesome when I went to Carlisle this year. Definitely spring for something with free lifetime map downloads.

Re: which gps to buy?
I like my first gen tomtom go. It re-calculates so quickly when i "misstheturnonpurposejusttotestthesystemreallyimea nttodothat"!
The only thing i'd want added is the live traffic report ota thing. That looks awesome.
Garmin and Tomtom have been at it for years, i don't think you can go wrong with either.

Re: which gps to buy?
I've used both garmin and tomtom and definitely prefer the garmin. Much more user friendly imo.

Re: which gps to buy?
when I bought mine, must have been in 07..??? I compared to the tom tom at best buy. Garmin was 1000x more user friendly and simplified. 100% of the time it will get you there. 98% of the time its a few blocks off, but only on back roads really. I also need to do the map update also, that might help with the few blocks thing
