not useless, in most major US cities are setup for the traffic, last year i went up to get some parts for the VW, and there were a few tie-ups, and a trip that would have taken probally 4 hours to get hack,i got back in normal 2 hour time because of the traffic feature that re-routed me thru city streets, and highways that i never knew exsisted up here

i have owned a magellan, tomtom, and a garmin nuvi.... i was not really impressed by the magellan, it seemed when i was going thru portland, it would drop signal when i was in downtown, now the tomtom, and garmin, no dropped signal ever, recaculates really fast

my current GPS is the garmin nuvi 1350LMT, and i love it, i paid around $179 for it at target

I like my garmin nuvi. I threw my tomtom away after it told me to turn off a bridge

I got my Garmin Nuvi for around $120 and it has never done me wrong! You should definitely look at getting one! Then you could fill your tank up with the rest of that $200.

Good price!
Traffic guidance can be a life saver !
But it would depend on where you travel.
I'm in the city and find it very useful

It works for me when I go into Atlanta but the updates would come in so slowly that you would already be in the traffic before it knew there was traffic.

Haha!
My old GPS did that!

That's why it's important to get FREE map updates
