Only used them for a season and half (they performed much better than my BFG AT T/A KO's...they were the cheapest studdable winter tire that I could find locally)....didn't drive the Mazda in the winter when I got my new Ranger 4x4.
I believe that Cooper makes the Arctic Claw among many other brands that are entry to mid level. Cooper is definitely not my favorite brand of tire as described at http://www.apa.ca
APA states that Cooper tires have had numerous safety recalls and therefore, are rated low. http://www.apa.ca/tire_wintertireratings_sport.asp
The General Altimax Arctic winter tires are noticeably better....and provide excellent value. This tire was rated 2nd by Consumer Reports behind Michelin XIceXi2.
