I commute 150 kms (93 miles) one way, 3 times a week for a total of 900 kms (559 miles) a week. Well I get a ride at the moment but the vehicle has 170,000 kms (105,000 miles) on it.

It's a 1.5 year old dodge caravan hahaha. But just like any vehicle maintenance is your friend. Keep it running, don't wait to fix things if you don't have to, and you'll be fine.

I have 162,000 on my 99 ranger. I drive it 40 miles one way to work everyday and its great not having a payment. If it breaks i'll just try to fix it myself. My ranger has been good to me so far! Hopefully it will last me many more years!

I got around 235-240. On my ranger and they run solid. Little problems here and there that happens though. A thermostat or brakes nothing to bad.

I do about 3,000KM every 2 weeks, assuming I don't go down to Vancouver, in which case it adds another 4,000KM that month. I've done 40,000K in under a year from brand new.

I have 193,000 miles on the '98, 139,000 on the CR-V. As long as you keep up on the maintenance, most vehicles won't let you down. The Ranger is a solid, proven vehicle (one of the benefits of no major redesigns for such a long time). Keep changing the fluids when you are supposed to and fix problems while they are still small and you'll be golden.

Just rolled 150,000. Motor runs like a champ. I only have a 9 mile commute (one way) but put about 200 on it a week.
My only major repairs (where I couldnt drive it) have been a new heater core at 85k and new clutch/pilot bearing/flywheel service at 130k. Other than that its just routine maintenance and some minor repairs (new rad, new heater control valve, rear brakes, parking brake cable)

Ive decided Im gonna drive it until its so broke that I can't anymore. If this motor ever goes, instead of getting a new truck Id luv to use that as my golden opportunity to drop a 5.0 in it. But I dunno for sure
