Got home from school one day about and saw it on craigslist in Washington, MO for $1400. Called the guy up and it was sitting in my driveway less than 2 hours later. I've had it now for about 2 years.

i got mine about 9 months ago here in the central coast of California about 20 min from where i live from a goofy old guy who was in need of cash. i was looking for at least a 98 that was 4x4, 4.0 extra cab and hopefully a 5speed but i didnt get the manual. i was lookin on craigs list for about 3 months to find this combo and it was surprisingly difficult to come across. my girlfriend has a 3.0 02 edge and in my opinion a little gutless so yea. i picked up my 99 for $4,100 and have been fixing little things here and there ever since. damn good trucks!

I drove a 99 GMC C1500 for seven years, got rear-ended at an intersection, and one big insurance check later, I was combing the internet for a newer, more fuel efficient truck. I found a black 04 edge on ebay, and it just spoke to me. I noticed that it was at a dealership just on the other side of Texas (400 miles away), so I hopped a greyhound to north Texas, checked it out, talked em down to my price range, and drove her home. Couldn't be happier.

Went to the dealership to order myself a 2007 Yellow Ranger and was told that color is only in production for the first half of the year. Asked if I waited to order a 2008 if I could get yellow and he said no, that they would be starting the production on an orange color. We talked options and packages for a few weeks and I finally faxed him the order... a few months later I got a phone call that my baby had arrived and I went and picked her up.

Glad you went with the 4L instead of the 3L and the G-O is full of win

My 88 grand Wagoneer rotted out to the point where it wasnt roadworthy. After 20 yrs and 5 of them I had enough. I wanted a Tacoma 4x4 5 speed, 4 cylinder. But alas, my wants far exceeded my means . A little while on Craigslist led me to my 94 XLT . It needs a clutch but is otherwise in horrible shape. Until I parked for 2 weeks with the windows open, it smelled of wet dog. I cobbled up the exhaust and got it inspected. I like it, it reminds me of my old Willys Overland Wagon.

I was dating this one girl a while back and the first time I came over her house I saw it sitting in her garage and I was like wow that's a beautiful truck and she said that it was her cousins. He isn't aloud to drive it because of drug problems and warrants out for his arrest.. And it has been sitting since 97. well a couple months went buy as I was beating the hell out of my 92 park ave her mom asked me if I wanted to buy the truck as is for 500 with a title and I said hell yes. I gave her the money that day. I looked at the obo and it said 48,132 and NO IT DIDN'T ROLL OVER!!!!! Changed the oil (which was super clean) put fresh gas and a new filter in and turned the key and it fired right away! got it registered and new tags and I pulled it out of their garage and two blocks away from her house I got pulled over because they have been looking for this kid and they asked me if I had and information that would lead to his arrest. And now the camshaft is defective and is sitting in my driveway awaiting the funds for a Turbo Coupe Motor (:

was looking for a small truck.... s-10 ranger or dakota checked several s-10's out at local used dealers then found a f-150 that was about the color of my truck with lots of chrome on it and fell in love with it.... well turns out they already had a deposit on it so the search started again... went to a lot called lying lees here in ashland and say the ranger and fell in love instantly.... test drove it and put a 200 buck deposit down on it and on march 28 2008 i went back with 800 bucks and finished the down payment and picked my baby up as a b-day gift to my self.... i figured since i had just got my emt certification and the fact that i always wanted a the truck..... called off work and took it and slowly turned it into mine......

For me, I always loved ford trucks (my dad had a 70's Econoline show van.). So I was trying to sell a Plymouth Scamp (Dodge Dart) for about 2 years. Mechanically sound but the body was shot and had this guy desperately wanting to buy it but only offered $500 for it.

The last time he came by he said he would trade his orange / black pickup for it. At this point I was curious, so after I saw the Ranger I fell in love and the rest is history.

saw a rotted 2000s edge on the side of the road... ended up being a salvage lot. was looking at it, it got rearended and doors and bed was shot. out of the corner of my eye, i saw a silver gleam all the way in the back...got hit in the drivers door. left, looked on craigslist, and 6 months later i went back to the truck. most beautiful thing i saw when it was fixed. bought it for 3100$ cash in hand the next day.
