Any 2011 XLT Supercab Ford Ranger Owners..

Hi Everyone,

I am in the beginning stage of possibly purchasing a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT Supercab, Automatic. Was wondering if an above average deal would be anything under $20,000 out the door? I've begun visitng car dealers and getting internet prices w/rebates but so far haven't received a price quote of under $20,000 out the door but that is a ball park of what i am willing to pay. Maybe i will have to buy pre-owned? Any information you can provide or share with me would be greatly appreciated.

I dont have an Xlt, but I do have a 2011 Sport 2wd full loaded and mine cost 18,845 out the door, just thought I would mention it.

Thanks so much for getting back to me! So you have the Ford Ranger Sport, right? But do you have an Entension? The out the door price you mentioned is excellent! It sounds like you received a great deal! You must have done alot of negotiating? You live in Canada so i'm wondering if there's much of a difference in price compared to the U.S.?

My truck is basically a Sport 4L 2wd Manual extended cab, 3.55 open diff, Power windows, power mirrors, cruise control and tilt, AC. Sliding rear window and privacy glass. It was tough negotiating and I had trouble with the guy from the financing dept. he threatened me that I needed a co-signer even though my credit was good and i had paid off my previous car loan. I told the guy that if he wants to sell the truck he would find a way that I dont "need" a cosigner. he also wanted to give me to me MSRP with
the $6000 rebate and tried to pull a fast one saying that the $6000 rebate was a deal the dealerhsip was giving to me (B-S, it was a Ford rebate, not dealership), I also asked that they include the trifold tonneau cover, mudflaps and window visors he ended up calling me the very next day saying I had the truck exactly the way I wanted for the price I wanted and almost took off all the taxes from price. So all in all my truck was a steal. I signed it for 60 mths, 5 yrs at 6.9% for 400 bucks a month.

as for the price difference from country to country I imagine its different sinces the taxes and delivery are probably higher here in canada, plus our Dollar, even though is still on par to American Dollars they still charge us 13-14% more then you guys for no apparent reason.

I have a 2011 2.3L (Auto) Supercab 2wd XLT. My trucks MSRP was $22,800. I purchased this truck in Feb '11 and Ford had -$4,500 off in rebates. My truck was just under $20K after all the fees lic, tax, doc etc... I didn't mind because at the end of the day it was still a better value than the "stripped" '11 Tacoma 2wd with crank windows, no tint, ugly black plastic bumpers and steel wheels I was looking at first.

I paid just a little over 19K and just got Line-X put in =)!!

not sure where Diamond bar is located, but if you can get to Minnesota, all of the ford dealerships are offering a 2011 ford ranger XLT 4x4 supercab 4.0 SOHC for $18,995 and will also thrown in $250 worth of accessories for free. (savings of over $7,000)
but only until July 5th.

Thanks Terrry, sounds like a terrific deal! I think i'll wait for the Fall...around November to purchase.
