Default 02 Project Finished

Bought this 2002 Edge 3.0/AT less than two weeks ago. It had a blown motor, busted out LH window, cracked windshield, no brakes, no A/C,and really dirty seats and interior. Paid $600. Came from a dope head with a crack pipe, cocaine tube, and plenty of leaves and seeds. Found a complete replacement motor that ended up being a rebuit motor with less than 10K miles on it. Dropped in the motor and fixed everything else in 10days. When the the ordered seat covers and herculiner are installed I will be in the truck at about $1750. A lot of the little things I fixed with help here. Air blows ice cold and 6 disc works well.

Here is a pic and thanx for the help.

Well I did. The sole purpose of this truck is to save miles on my wifes four runner and my Z-71. The motor was chosen for ease and speed of install . Plus the price........$450

That is virtually the way I got it. Other than just being nasty and needing a make over the pic shows it. It has a tan interior so I order some seat covers, 60/40, that are black on the outside with tan inserts. Even though it has a 6 disc I do not know how long till I replace it with an alpine. CD's in it now are Albert King/Stevie Ray Vaughn , Jimi Hendrix, and Freddie King......Still rockin' @ 59!

Like I said this is how I bought it on a Wednesday. Picked up the motor on Friday and paid a friend of mine to drop it in on the week end. He brought it to me Sunday afternoon . The rest, other than the door glass, has been all cosmetic. I paid him $300 to pick up truck, install motor, and bring it to me 20 miles. The seats are so nasty they require a tetenus shot. The rubber mat needed help but with a little cleaning and a coat of Krylon Semi Flat black it looks new.
