so that no one thinks i am flaming anyone. that is the stock rack and pinion attached to a hunk of scrap iron on top of what looks like an unattached D30 from a YJ

[QUOTE=cdawall;461649]this is zbar steering

it is unsafe. this should be straight

I AGREE THAT THIS IS NOT EXACTLY SAFE BUT MY STEERING ISNT LIKE THIS. ALL YOU CAN SEE IN MY PIC IS THE RACK AND PINION ATTACHED TO "A HUNK OF IRON" HOW CAN YOU JUDGE ANYTHING BY THAT. YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT OR HOW ITS ATTACHED. SO UNTIL YOU CAN SHOW ME HOW MY STEERING IS SO UNSFE, IM NOT GANNA PAY ANY ATTENTION TO YOUR THOUGHTS. IM NOT HERE TO HAVE A BITCH FEST WITH SOMEONE WHO PAYED TO HAVE THERE RANGER LIFTED.

lol how dare i pay to have a shop work on a truck and do it right

and just wondering why you are so pissed. i had the money i spent it the truck rides great the steering works safely and its my money not to mention i am very good friends with the owner and have known him for quite a while now. i work for a living 10-16 hrs a day and have a family. i do not have the time nor the tools to do a full SAS swap correctly so i didn't. i have not gone around claiming i know everything just that your steering if it is a zbar style steering is not safe. your use of the stock rack and pinion is not safe. dont brag about it fix it. i shouldn't have to make a break down as to what is not safe about it. rack and pinion is designed for a completely different application. Zbars are not part of any vehicle that link should be straight. it moves it binds etc. that link having any curve in it is incorrect and unsafe. if you do not like that get over it. you can continue with your "booty fab" work if you would like but please don't sell that to people and please dont drive it on public roads it is NOT safe nor is it sane for that matter.

IM JUST TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT LINK YOUR TALKIN ABOUT? WHAT CURVES. I WAS RUNNING THE RACK AND PINION AND A SOLID STEERING ARM IN THE FACTORY LOCATION ON THE FRONT END. THERES NO CURVES ANYWHERE. AND IM NOT PISSED OFF ABOUT ANYTHING. I DONT MIND LISTENING TO WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY BUT UNTIL YOU EXPLAIN WHY ITS NOT SAFE, IM GOING TO KEEP MY OPINION ON THE SUBJECT.

Bro calm down the whole thing looks rigged and unsafe using parts that are not even supposed to be used for that is just stupid and unsafe your risking your own life along with that of everyone on the road. Think about that for a min do you really want to be responsible for killing someone?

Are you playing dumb or are you just arguing for the sake of arguing?
