Wish my Ranger was that tough a couple years ago it had been storming all day and i went through a deep water and engine light came on and the water like got to my spark cylendors or hubs whatever you call them and the wires were shredded and falling apart.

We just bent the z-bars to use with the rack. So basically it was kinda like a high steer setup. We were getting mixed opinions from people on it but if i built another one i would do the same thing

no were not gonna be able to. with the axle we are using there is no where to mount the z-bars so we are going with a steering box.

So your bragging about putting together a completely unsafe "zbar" steering setup and driving it on public roadways? That's cool thanks for putting the lives of my family in danger. There is a reason no one uses rack and pinion steering with a solid axle.

whats so wrong with using rack and pinion on a sas truck? ive never had a lifted truck that drove as good as that one. and whats the difference in my z-bars and any high steer setup. oh and one more thing is that part of your steering hanging down in front of your truck?

That's a trackbar hanging the bolt sheered offroading that shit happens. Google scary steering and you'll see what's wrong with using the stock rack and pinion along with a zbar. Its unsafe that's just the fucking end of it.
