Damn Joe, I was wondering where you went.
But yea, don't let Morgan or the Cali boys in here, they'll dispute Pat's claim to the death.

Re: 2wd offroad
Let's take the 2wd trucks and mine and see who gets further. Yes a properly set up 2wd can drive offroad but its still 2wd.

Re: 2wd offroad
Every vehicle has it's limit. Even a 460 powered F250 sitting 40" off the ground with Rockwells and tractor tires will have it's limit. It's just a matter of where that limit falls, and for 4x2's, that limit falls a little short of a 4x4. However, off-roading can be viewed as 3/4 driver, 1/4 equipment. Off-roading is easily an intellectual hobby, and if you go in like a dip-shit, you won't come out. If you plan it out and know what you're doing, then you won't have much of a problem. I've run my truck through 2-3 feet of sticky and slippery clay mud and 3 foot water/mud puddles without getting stuck. I've also run my truck up lime rock roads that are barely wide enough for my tires, and it's made it just fine. I even have an open rear axle and have yet to have a problem. I feel safe to say that 3/4 of the time, it's not the vehicle that gets you stuck, it's stupidity.
