I think it came from having an easy first 180k miles driving between Portland, OR and Las Vegas, NV over and over again. I double clutch and engine brake a lot too, so brakes and clutch don't get a lot of use unless I need them.

What did it take to get the engine to go that long?
*Edit: The brakes feel great! The clutch... could be better.

Just make sure you do your oil and other things along those lines. Those engines will run FOREVER. Unfortunately, there was a big storm and I had to drive to the hospital relatively quickly. A piece of rebar came through my grill, and through my coolant tank. I couldn't hear that over the wind, rain, thunder, and my truck. I had to drive another 35 minutes with absolutely no coolant. My engine welded the pistons to the inside of the engine because of heat. Hahaha. Can't complain. Lasted FOREVER. And it got me to the hospital that night which is hat REALLY matters. In the end, it's just a truck. But it helped save my girlfriends life. I'm extremely thankful for thy truck
