A jerk would talk to you like that. Many of us here have well over 290 K without oil leaks. High Mileage motor oil once per year helps. Or one quart per oil change.

Ditto on the made in China parts, or "rebuilt" with a cheesy warrantee.

Always buy the best part you can find.

I haven't been on this forum since I got my new Ranger. The 2000 I had was traded off at 260,000 miles. My new one (2021) took 9 months to come in. It's a base model, and I've had it 15 months. Today it turned over to 12,000 miles. Man, that little 2.3 turbo engine has some guts!
