Not even kidding. My grandpa is like that for some reason, nobody asks why, they just do what he says.
A 1997 Ranger, bought at the same time and same dealership as my first Ranger. Grandpa kept one and stored it, gave the other to my dad as a DD.
Literally like a couple hundred miles on it. Not exactly sure how much, it was between 100-400 miles.

That's insane. A ranger isn't one of those vehicles that's like worth a bunch. But may be in the next 20 years or so.

Lucky. In my case, it was use it or lose it. Clutch slips when they warm up. I'm taking it in for inspection and want to know if it's hydraulic or the plates themselves

I have a 93 now with 356xxx on it. Between 2012-14 put on over 200K on it hauling whatever I could fit into it and a 5X8 cargo trailer. Sometimes over 4000 lb payload! That's a lot for that 4banger! Replaced clutch and slave cylinder at 305k, about to put in 2nd rear axle (the excess weights have taken their toll). Needing some TLC but still a daily driver. Very dependable.
