Default I love my Ranger Because . . . ?

I love my Ranger because it's my 1st truck. I have been wanting a truck for a long time. I mainly haven't bought one b/c I'd had jobs that require a rather far distance to travel 30+ miles, so I small 4 cylinder is my tool for that. But every since I started driving as a young teen up in Northern Michigan I've loved to have at truck. It's useful, for almost anything. My dad recently purchase a 98 F150 with under 100K miles on it and was going to trade in his little Ranger (his 2nd one), and I offered to buy it off of him for $500 which is about what he was going to get for it on a trade in. I mainly sits next to my house and only used for trips to Lowe or hauling stuff. Occasionaly I take to work b/c I don't want to feel left out (like it has feelings or something).

I don't have much $ to make it spiffy, so maybe some day.

I love my ranger because...

I have always loved Rangers! My Grandpa has owned 3 white ones, all with the 4.0 and XLT 4x4. He had 2 brand new 94' back in 94. One for him, one for my grandman. the only difference was that hers had a purlpe pin stripe; his blue pinstripe. Then in 04', he got an 03' XLT 4.0 4x4 Steppie. We used to take Sundays and ride around up in the mountains through the snow and stuff! i loved it! Ive wanted one since i was like 8! They are probably th prettiest truck on the market IMO (heck they must be doing something right to have same body style since 93'!). They are simple, they dont ahve to have all that those fancy things that other trucks have just to sell...they sell themselves! And they are capable! They can go anywhere, especially with their 4WD!

So when i was 19, i bought a 94. put 60k miles on it and bought my dream truck, i upgraded to the extended cab with the 4.0 and 4x4! I simply love Rangers no matter what haters have to say about them. Sure there are a few lemons, but from my experience with Rangers, they are the best truck ever! yeah they're smaller than other trucks, but if i wanted a family truck, i would not have bought a Ranger. its not meant for families...

anyhow, i love my truck and loved my old truck!

This is my 2nd Ranger that I've owned.

My first one as a '93 and loved the truck to death, I baby that thing and sadly I sold it after 3 years of having it. I was tired of always having my friends driving to places.

I got a new '09 last April, and I was in heaven after I test drove it.. I forgot how fun it was to drive a Ranger.

I love the 25 to 30mpg I get on mine, it's small that I can fit it in our tuck under garage, yet able to haul stuff that I need to haul.

I love my Ranger because:
To many reasons, I can't think of them all and probably couldn't write them down anyway.
But I love my Ranger now because I hold the title.

What's not to love about it?

I love the truck in general. It's the right size and fits most of my needs. 95% of the time I do not need a full size truck and 98% of the time I do not need to haul more than one person. so it works in that respect. it's also big enough to haul/pull what I need and still small enough to fit on the trails. My '01 was also my first truck. There's much much more I have to say about my love for my truck, but this site has limited bandwidth.
