Default General Opinion

So Ford of course is phasing out the Ranger. Anybody have any thoughts on that?

We have had a lot of thoughts on that in various threads.
Nobody is happy about it. But it all depends on what they replace it with. I'm hoping for the best but prepared for disappointment.

ya, i thought that the ranger was really lacking after i saw the 08 tacoma, i know i know, tacomas are the devil and not even compact trucks anymore, but man, that thing had a 12v outlet in the bed, rear electronic locking differential from the factory, nice ride. IMO it outclassed the ranger in 08, but i still like the ranger better and cant wait to see the new one.
hopefully ford takes what they put in the raptor and makes it semi-standard in a new mid size truck. they definitely went in the right direction with that truck.
