they are both great trucks, just saying lol dont hate on the xlt cuz thats not what were saying the xlt 4x4 is like the lost twin brother compared to the fx4 who is the big brother haha

Thanks alot man. I really hope I don't drop the soap on this purchase... I've seen some lightly used trucks going for 13-15 thousand. Still from a dealer, so I can do financing. Might look into that as opposed to buying brand spankin' new.

Beat the dealer up on price... Got my 11 FX4 loaded with everything except automatic transmission for $19,700.. about 22 out the door with tax.

i got a sport, i wish i couldve bought a fx4, but you can only buy a new one in canada

Jesus. That's not bad at all. This is my first time ever dealing with a dealership, though. Not really too sure how to correctly "beat up the dealer" aha.

I thought the interior was the same? And the FX4 comes with the step bars I believe, and I'm going to do the chrome grille aftermarket.

There are some mild differences in interior, the Xlt offers carpet interior while the Fx4 (modern ones) have vinly flooring, there are also other differences, I prefer the Fx4 interior.
