I'd say that's pretty close to the max weight for the truck and probably pushing it for safety because of the brakes. You are carrying a lot of weight up high, making for a pretty unstable load for a light vehicle.
I have Firestone "Rideright" airbag helpers on my Dodge 1500 4X4 Quadcab. I'd never pull a trailer or haul much weight again without them. Unfortunately, I don't think Firestone makes helper bags for the Ranger though.
If you can get the helper bags you provided a link to that will fit the Ranger, they most certainly won't hurt. Just remember, even though you will be able to level the truck you still will have to stop it with brakes that will be pushed to their maximum and you will still have a really top heavy vehicle that will make cornering dicey at best.
