Default 1999 Ford Ranger is a real pain to re-fuel. I can only hold the fueling

nozzle about 1/4 open!? This is getting really old. It takes sooooo long to re-fuel. I have to barely squeeze the nozzle so that gas just trickles into my tank. Any suggestions?

I know that most gas stations pump have the option of letting the gas auto fill. If you look at the handle of some gas pumps, you will see a clip almost under the handle where your fingers go. You put it in the position where it will auto fill and stop and relax. The next time you go, you may want to check that out so you can give you hand a rest. Also, depending on the time of day, a worker can let you know or show you how to do it.

For a backyard fix slip a 1/4 hose into the filler hole . About two feet or to the top of the gas tank. Adjust acordingly . Good luck

the vent system in your tank might be messed up so it's trying to fill and breathe from the same tube......try checking the vent/return lines for blockage.

I just pull it back out a little ways, like 1/4-1/2 inch. It makes some noise but no spills, and it auto-fills.
Taking my dollar bills
More gas consumed on hills
It costs money to run my wheels
Uh...
