what tint level should i get?

i was thinking about tinting my windows but dont know what level to get. if i tint over the stock tint in the back would it be darker than the fronts with the same level? also i want it so you cant just look right through my windows and see what stuff is in my rig (exspensive stereo).

I was thinking of getting 20% for my truck, its darker then oem but not bait for the POPO

if you dont want it to dark get 20% over the rear stock stuff and 20% on the door and it will be pretty dark

My album shows my truck with 5% on rear side windows and back
I do not have tint on the front, but it looks fine

i have 15% all the way around my truck with a 8inch 5% tint drop on the front windshield

i got 20% check my pics, you got a silver ranger so you would get an idea what itll look like by checking out my truck

I'd go for 100%. You can use those rear view cameras on both ends.

No reason to tint over the rear IMO... Unless you want that stuff blacked out.

I have 15% on my front and you can see details if you're within 3' or so of the window so it depends on what level of privacy you want.

LOL 100% is no tint at all. 100% clear glass.
the % number is how much light shines thru.
Limo tint is 5%

ill just spray paint mine so i can have 0% lol

Thanks for the tips ill prolly go 20% or 35%. have you guys ever been cited by the fuzz for your tint?

i live in ohio, so they can't just pull you over for tint. they have to have a reason other than tint to get you. and usually in trucks they don't bother you

Go for 20%. I have 35% of my side windows, wish I would have gone with 20%.

I live in the Calif Bay Area, and there is nothing illegal on my truck.
My 5% tint in the rear has never given me any grief from the Popo!
I can see just fine thru the tint,as well
