Default how do i lower the idle on my ford ranger?

i just got a 1990 ford ranger XLT and the idle is running too fast its a carb 4 cylinder and theres not really anything wring with it, its just too fast in idle any suggestions on how to lower it?

check to see if the fast idle solenoid is functioning. it can be adjusted back to lower the idle rpms.

there should be a screw on the throttle linkage to slow it down
