i took it in last month because the slave cylinder got wet and got ruined and since they were in the transmission anyway i went ahead and repaired the clutch too, they estimated that it would have lasted until about 100k miles but i went ahead and replaced it since the labor was going to be high anyway

I would say you could expect to walk away with 8k-10k so list it around 11k-12k.... as great as it may be on its own they are a dime a dozen.

I took my 05 to carmax and they gave me 11k for it I had roughly the same mileage, I did have 4x4 and bigger engine, but no power options. I would definitely go there and see what they will give ya for it.

When I was looking Carmax had bone stock Rangers '05-'07 years nearly stripped models around 30-50K priced (Nicest <---$12K-$10K--> for the roughest) If I remember correctly Carmax doesn't take modified vehicle though, if they do they might offer a lot less.

They don't last that long. Try about 80K if there's nothing wrong with it. I'm on my 3rd clutch. The first one had alot of defects in it and it went out. The techs told me that if anyone else had these problems it would've went out sooner, so I know it wasn't me using the clutch wrong. The second one went out due to the rear main seal leaking oil thanks to geico's sorry assed engines (I went through 2 in less than 6 months). The labor and parts total for an O.E.M clutch repair, $957 bucks tax and all. But any way I'd go ahead and take it to carmax and see what they'll offer for it. If it looks good on the inside and out, they may surprise you a little bit. Carmax has just started accepting more modified vehicles if they're nicley done and done correctly. The ricers caused a big problem with Carmax over the years and is why they're reluctant to take a modified vehicle.

I completely demodded mine minus speakers and exhaust before I took it in (extra $ that I would not get from carmax for the mods). They didn't even take notice of the muffler being dumped under the bed. They sold my 05 a year ago for 14k.

Oops, I meant on your ranger. Have you talked to them yet and gotten a quote on your ranger? That's what I meant to ask.
