Not all Sports are loaded. There are base Sports as well. There is nothing that separates a Sport from a Edge, except for a few minor cosmetic changes, and some wimpy name decals. The options are all still the same.

That's the only thing missing in mine, power accessories. I did have one guy who owned an XLT tell me that mine was the same truck inside and out. I guess it depends on which one you got in terms of options. Cause they did have options in the edge model. I don't even know what they offer for today's models in terms of accessories.

Here's how I'd do it. I would offer a full accessory line which includes a V8 engine and matching trans. Here's a way they can do that for those that want a V8. GM has an accessory line for the Silverado. They offer A to Z accessories for that model. What they do is "add it to your payment". Why doesn't Ford do that with the Ranger platform? We may never know. That's about the only decent and kool thing that GM has done in the last few years. If the customers want it, they'll pay for it.

Some of our Rangers weren't fortunate enough to be born with manuals.

Whatever has a l/s nig.

Honestly A locker would be worth it more than the L/s in the long run.

A mustang with Posi traction. A direct bolt in as a matter of fact. I got lucky on the manual tranny. The only drawback, the stock clutch and it's cables suck. I'm on my 3rd in 7 years, but I've seen one guy in there repeatedly getting a new clutch and its components while mine was getting a regular scheduled oil change. That cat just never learned how to use the clutch. He kept trying to tell me how to use the clutch, but an ASE master tech told him that I was on my 3rd clutch in 7 years due to mechanical failure not operator failure. Basicly he told him to shut up really.

You guys got to check out my new thread over in the media section. It's a ford ranger with a 572 BBC doing some damage at a mud bogging contest. I found the videos on youtube. here's the link:

Not all 4wd got skid plates. The 4wd edge next to mine when I bought it didn't have one.

I believe FX4 Level II's FX4 Off Road and the XLT Off Road where the only ones to get skid plates.
