for that price their prob gonna be 4 cyl models with high mileage, meh... but its your call, better off just buying a newer ranger for 12K.

Ranger or a piece of chit foreign truck? American or foreign? Proven reliability vs untested truck. To me i would just get another Ranger simple choice to me.

Re: Ranger for Tacoma!
why is it that when people are ready to give up the ranger, the tacoma is the go to truck? there are better trucks out there plus why not upgrade to an f250 skip the 150

Re: Ranger for Tacoma!
for that kinda money I would go out looking for a 7.3 F-350. Them trucks are the shit. you want a 350 cause they have straight axles up front

Re: Ranger for Tacoma!
the 250's have straight axles too. And if your gonna get an f-series 3/4 ton +, get the diesel.

I've been looking around lately and I Ben finding 05 tacomas 5 speed v6 ex cab for around 11 to 12 grand with around 120xxx I had a Tacoma that had over 200k miles that was lifted and it never gave problems. I was always a Tacoma guy. Don't get me wrong I love my ranger and I just might keep it and go finance a used 05 Tacoma. Who knows. I just landed a good job working for a solar company so might just Tear apart the ranger and fully cage it and get a Tacoma for a DD

My dad has a built for towing 02 f250 and he spends fortunes on fixing problems with that thing. He just got a new motor put in it for 10 k
If I wanted a new motor for a ranger or yota I'd pay less then half that

Re: Ranger for Tacoma!
Sucks about the Ranger but I can't talk shit about Toyotas if I had to go with a new truck I would go with a Tundra...oh and whoever said they arent proven apparently has naver seen the old body style Toyota trucks that are still running around with over 200.000 miles
