Alright, Demon was over the other day, we put in his window. I noticed that his truck did not have the egr nor the another sensor (i think) related to the EGR. And it was not removed. This was from the factory. No trace of wires/sensors. The manifold was plugged where the EGR tube would have gone. My theory is this, the FX4 is suppose to be more "off roadier, sporty, beefed up, etc" and since the EGR robs power from the motor, they dont install it. Now I dont want to get into a heated debate over wether or not the EGR does blah, blah, blah and is suppose to be there blah, blah, blah, I just want to see pics of anyone with the FX4 package trucks. If all are un-equipped, it must be for something.

I'm firm on the belief they rob power form the motor...??? I highly doubt that ford makes a seperate computer for an FX4 over the equal XLT off road to compensate some how for the lack of an EGR
