No, why would you? There a 20-80mph wind blowing through the grill. The coolant t-stat opens at 190. Most people have their fans set to come on at about 210-215. The only time it needs to come on and stay on is for the AC.

since you go desert racing, how about adding a rear amber (Dust) light which i believe is a safety requirement?

Well, even if you dont race you truck, do you wheel with it, I dont plan on wheeling with my truck much but i plan on having spotlights facing back off of my backrack, so that it lights up my bed and everything else behind my truck in case im working at night, or have to help a friend that broke down/accident something
You could always take the switches out and make them indicator lights untill you figure out what to do with them, or just label them self destruct and make it do some creepy sound when you turn it on to scare the shit out of your friends.

How about adding some lights under your cab shining down on like your wheels when ya wheel at night, there is a guy with some hids under his truck and he calls his truck "UFO truck" or something like that.

I might put some LED underglow inside my wheel wells

IDK about HIDs under my truck haha, would be kinda pointless to do that. LEDs would work better

It would be such a waste to put Hella HIDs in the wheel wells of your truck. Waste of money, not the right way to do that, etc.

LED strips would be perfectly fine and be a lot easier
