That wold actually be a good idea. So that way I can plug some type of accessory into it like going to the bed of my truck or something for out in the desert. Like a light for the camp or something like that. Might need to do that

Well if it was just a bare plug going somewhere I wouldnt always want power going to it. I am thinking of maybe having like 15' of wire coiled up inside the console somewhere with a plug on the end of it. So that way I could put some type of accessory on it and flip the switch on and have it power up

why would he need an electric fan when he has a stock fan? electric fans r typically for body lfted trucks

or am i completely off?

haha. Ya you're completely off. They can replace your stock fan any time. Lots of people have done it, including me. A switch can be used to manually turn it on bypassing the thermostat control.

My buddy has an electri fan on his 02 ranger. I helped him wire it all up. My fan is LOUD AS FUCK on my truck so I have thought about doing this plenty of times

The electric fans are less load on the engine, quieter, and only operate when needed.
