That's the general problem with GM and Chrysler right now. They charge way more than they should and you don't get your money's worth. Not to mention that 9 times out of 10 you'll spend most of your time in the shop getting alot of small shit repaired, and by the time you get that taken care of, you're in there again for something major. That's my take on both GM and Chrysler. Their products leave alot to be desired. This is one time of many that I think the aftermarket does alot better job than O.E.M ever could think about doing in a great number of areas.

There is a reason why Chevy's mottto for the longest time was "like a rock".

You got that right. They want too much money for their shit. The new Camaro is a prime example of too much money. Pushing nearly $40K and you don't even get a V8. If I'm going to pay that much I'd at least want a few options for it and a V8. Any way the new Camaro will be having alot of problems next year to say the least, when the 302 Boss Mustang returns to the streets.

Not here. Maybe down the road about 20 to 30 minutes, but not here. Trust me on that one. I've seen as much as a $10K difference in the price tags 20 to 30 minutes down the road. Tennesee has a much lower tax rate on their vehicles than Virginia does. Plus the dealers around here give new meaning to the term greed if you get my drift.

I had a colorado yesterday in shop almost 2hrs labor to replace thermostat plus the part is 50 bucks my cost front brake job very time consuming to turn the rotors u have to unbolt the bearing assembly and then the rotor is bolted together. Rear brakes are just as bad we charge double to the brakes on these trucks.

----------

The electronic throttle body is always going out a $500.00 repair plus another $200.00 for the gas pedal seats are wore out in about 50k. The only thing I like about them is the crew cabs ride and drive real nice. I could have traded my 01 ranger for a 06 the other day with half the miles it looked good but just couldn't do it it was the xtreme version.
