Default Sea Foam...How much gas?!?!

flame away, I got sea foam have read and read and read, I see 1/3 oil, 1/3 vacuum lines, 1/3 gas tank...I understand change oil after a few days...spark plugs might go bad...fuel filter could get blocked...but with using the 1/3 of a can in the gas is it with a full tank, half tank, almost empty tank?!?!

in other cars with 12-14 gal tanks, ive used when about half full of gas.

if you're doing the 1/3 split method, a third of the 16oz can works out to roughly 5.33 oz. you're supposed to mix 1oz to 1gal of fuel, so you'd need about 5 or 6 gallons in the tank.

like you said, you want to run it in the crank case for a few days (unless you drive a ton each day, of course). then change the oil and filter.

from my experience, the brake booster line is the best place to induce the cleaner into the vacuum system. its a fat line, and easy to get to. once you warm up the engine, leave it running, and just tip the bottle near the line and the suction will drawn the cleaner out of the bottle. if you just dump it in there, it'll stall the engine, so add slowly. once all is in there, shut it down and let it set for about 15 minutes. then fire it up and drive it like a bat outta hell until it stops smoking.
