Okay so I can get the DPDT rocker switch, and that is made for speakers? I take it the ones coming out of my radio go to that switch, then the wires from the back speakers and the truck speakers would go to the switch? Sorry I'm very lateral. Lol.

----------

& where do I look for the gear ratio?

For the speakers, you would need a 4 pole Double throw switch, or two double pole double throw switches. Each speaker is two wires, and there's a left and right speaker to switch. None of this is MADE for speakers. A switch is a switch.

However, I have a feeling your wiring skills are probably not high up there. I would just get a speaker switch made for this and be done with it.

Whatever works. Lol. I think between y'all and Youtube I'll figure it out. How hard is it installing speakers into the wheel well of a truck's bed?

Well, speakers are easy to install anywhere really. Make the right shaped hole and put the speaker in it. The challenge is protecting it and keeping it from getting wrecked when it comes to outdoor speakers. The second challenge is getting the wires to them.

Well I have a bedliner on my truck so I can run the wires up under them. But I didn't know if the speaker would hit the actual bed up under it. & won't I have to pull my entire dash off to get to the wires?

No. It's enough that you can get to either end. You don't even have to pull the entire dash off to run new wire.

Build a BOX and secure it down somewhere. Don't try to install speakers in the ...

FFFFFFFFUCKIN BEDLINER DUDE! okay? You're crackin me up with some of this stuff you're throwing out there man. lol!

You can't mount the speaker to the bedliner. There is no clearance between the bedliner and the body of the truck. You have to cut holes in the steel wheel well. I'd stick with the tool box.

Hey it's a forum. If nobody felt like responding, trust me they wouldn't. I think the people responding understand your excitement.
But the .. more .. uhmmm.... original (yes I'll use THAT word) ideas that you're coming up with just take some consideration on your part. As in don't do anything on impulse. You want each idea to end up able to be successfully completed.
Example: You want music to be audible outside the cab of the truck.
You have to realize that you can get away with blasting your stereo for about one hour max without the engine running before it adds up and costs you a premature battery replacement. Otherwise you have to idle the truck simply to power the stereo.
